San Andreas Uniform Mega-Pack 1.0.0

   (8 reviews)

23 Screenshots

A compilation of all the uniforms I've done so far for both EUP and npc police peds. This effectively makes my previous uniform texture releases obsolete.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE: I've decided to release these early since I haven't made much progress on them due to finals, and I didn't want the project to just lie forgotten in my drive. For EUP, there are still a number of uniforms I've yet to cover, such as the long sleeve uniforms and detective badges etc. Also, rank patches might clip with some of  the department patches on the uniform, so I recommend refraining from using ranks until I can properly resize them. Don't mind the weird normal mapping on the badges and shoulder patches, I didn't have time to fix them. Oh, and the new uniforms also only come with one name for each gender. These were initially for personal use and I'll try to add more names in the future.

As for the ped models, most of the city police departments don't have female uniforms yet. I'll get back and work on these when I get the chance again. In the meantime, consider this an early Christmas present from me.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This pack contains uniforms for both EUP and npc peds meant to accomodate the many different departments I've covered with my vehicle texture packs. As usual, they are lore-friendly and are based on their real-life counterparts. Instructions on how to install are in the readme. The instructions are simple as I'm not much of a readme writer, but if you experience any trouble, send me a message and I'll help guide you through the process.

You'll need the main EUP mod version 7.4 if you wish to use the EUP uniforms. As for the npc peds, you'll need Yard1's Beta Cop model for the city units while the sheriff deputies were made for Velactor's model. Links to these below:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Of course, as I was in a rush organizing this mod pack, there might some issues that I wasn't aware of (weird textures etc). In which case, let me know in the comments. While I won't be as active over the winter break, I'll occasionally drop by to see if anyone needs help.

Enjoy!

Alex_Ashfold for EUP
Yard1 and Velactor for their ped models

Nice  can you created this  for Open iv selfinstall  please

I'm not exactly sure on how to do that. It would also only apply for the EUP textures since everyone has a different model name and location for their police ped models. For example, I have my own custom police ped entries with names like s_m_y_cop_06 located in their own dlcpack.

But if anyone else would be willing to make an OpenIV package for the EUP uniforms, they're free to do so.

Glad you like them!

You can find the model/texture slots for that uniform in the readme I provided. With EUP installed, you can access the wardrobe and search for them there. It uses the same flat shirt model as the city K9 uniform. I actually had to add the badge in as a flat texture and then make it have the illusion of being 3D.

@Schecter004 The texture files for the port police are in Cop Peds\City Police\Port of Los Santos PD. As for the ped, You can either replace the original LSPD peds or have a new npc entry specifically for port police. The latter a little more complicated to do. I do know that the next version of RDE will have their own port police npc.

Well, i use EUP.

What i have to do to add the Port Officer?

I've listed the slots to get the uniform in the readme. You'll have to use EUP's wardrobe.

I saw the list but didn't understand it. Well, i'll try again, when i'm home today.

Thx for taking your time.

Well, buddy.

Your list is pretty useless!

Slot 36 of what?

What does -36 means?

What does T2 for example means?

Is it possible to make an understandable description how to install?

@Schecter004 I'm guessing you haven't used EUP's wardrobe function? When you press F11 or whichever key you have to open EUP's menu, there should be a tab that says "outfit" That's where you get to change individual parts of your character's uniform.

Untitled.png

As you can see, the numbers correspond to the slots for the model of that particular clothing piece. And I know I've rushed the creation of that readme, as mentioned, but I did intend for the first entry to be an example for the rest:

LSPD Motor:
Upper Skin  - 20
Pants          - 33 Texture (T)-2
Top             - 150 Texture (T)-2

Some models have multiple textures and those Ts indicate which one to use.

I assumed that people have used the outfit editor at least once to have understood what those numbers meant. I still plan on improving the readme as well as add more content when I get back from the winter break.

:smile:Sure i've used the wardrobe function.

That's not what i was talking about.

I only wanted to know how to INSTALL, not to use, the Port Officer!

I didn't want to install the whole uniform pack.

Only the Port parts.

Because I like the other uniforms from EUP just like they are.

But i guess i've to install everything.

Is there a way for an easy install?

Because you can't import a yellow file to Open IV.

@Schecter004 Ah, in that case, go into mp_m_freemode_01_mp_m_stunt_01 inside the eup_componentpeds folder and find jbib_diff_002_d_uni.ytd.

That's the file for the port police uniform. Just drag that inside "eup_componentpeds.rpf\mp_m_freemode_01_mp_m_stunt_01."

I'm waiting for an EUP version of LAPD uniforms.

Unfortunately, I only cover lore-friendly textures. I recall another texture artist was making one for EUP, but that was months ago.

The pants for EUP seem to be an odd shade of blue that doesn't match the shirt, am I doing something wrong?

Yeah, I don't know why, but the textures for pants come out odd and washed out regardless of how clean I make it or how higher res it is. Out of all the clothing pieces I've worked on, they seem to work differently. They also don't come out the same color I textured them to be ingame...

Open IV  Package its easy to install  can you make this ?

This would only work for the EUP component, as people have different locations for the npc peds. For example, I have all of my peds and car models assembled in my own dlcpack and have their own file names (eg. s_m_y_cop_05, s_f_y_sheriff_03, etc), while someone else will have them separated in different dlcpacks under different file names (s_m_y_coplsia, s_f_y_sheriffblaine, etc).

In any case, the way I have it organized for EUP, it's only a matter of selecting all the folders and drag-and-drop them into your EUP dlc.rpf.

Just wanted to give a heads up. You've mentioned they would work for Yard1's Beta Cops. This is partially true and not true. The long sleeve shirt and Badge without the watch will work. However the short sleeve badge with watch won't because Yard1's Beta Cops uses the Sheriff model watch and your textures for the city police ones use the default cop model watch.

Has he updated it into using the sheriff model? I'll have to check up on that at some point and provide an update. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
