2 Screenshots

This mod add some peds to the game so you dont have to replace any existing peds
-new male sheriff (with hat and without boots)  
-new female cop (without hat for now)
-new female paramedic
Installation in the archive

im using this peds for a bit of variety in my backup scenario with LSPDFR, male sheriff and female cop in
Grand Theft Auto V\lspdfr > backup.xml

female paramedic with better ESM in
Grand Theft Auto V\plugins\LSPDFR\EMSmod > EMSUnits.xml


plans: improve female cop female paramedic (I'm too lazy for now)
       add more peds

Seems I have an issue when I include one specific file - the issue being CTD during loading screens.


The file in question is s_m_y_sheriff_02.ytf


Without this one file everything loads fine.  Thought you may want to know in case it is not just me experiencing this.

You have probably made a mistake in the .meta edit then. Works fine for me.

I tried many times, copied the lines from Installation.txt, double-check for misplaced opening/closing tags...  But if I include that one file, I get a CTD upon starting the game.  If I excluded it from the dlc.rpf it loads fine, with or without the meta (of course, I can't spawn it in then, but any way).


No idea why, but that is how it goes for me.  :sad:

Sure, but I did mine differently than the instructions. I made the peds.meta edit in update\x64\dlcpacks\mpexecutive\dlc.rpf\common\data because it's smaller (I don't like copying 3GB files to my mods folder if I can avoid it), and I just dumped all the ped and pedprops into update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday9ng\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\patchday9ng.rpf file.

Alas, still no joy - and as before, if I remove the file s_m_y_sheriff_02.ytf then the game loads without CTD.  I am at a loss.  :unsure:

Try a modified gameconfig.xml. Maybe it works for peds as well as cars?

@legionariusany chance for the sheriff you could add the green sheriff campaign hat? I'm really not a fan of the brown one ;)

Appreciate the help, will try it tomorrow.  :smile:  The other two peds work, just not that single file (the other files belonging to that ped works on load, oddly enough.  How can a texture reference file wreck things?).

No need to be sorry, @legionarius.  :smile: Probably on my end, doing a fresh install, clean install with no extra files about.  I have quite a few mods and this time I know better what I am doing with files and can make less of a mess :sweat: (and smaller files, thanks to @Kilyin).

Update:  First mod to go into the actual mod folder on my clean install - and it works.  Must have been something somewhere else that did not agree - but no matter, it works now.  :woot:  Thanks @legionarius for making it and @Kilyin for the help.  :thumbsup:
