A pack of GTA V vehicles modified into LCPD ELS versions.

This pack includes:

  • Vapid Cruiser 2nd generation (locked due to request by Murphy, author of many fixes)
  • Vapid Interceptor (unlocked)
  • Bravado Buffalo 2nd generation (unlocked)
  • Cheval Fugitive (unlocked)
  • Declasse Merit (unlocked, template is identical as in Caine's 1st, locked Merit - thanks Ekalb!)
  • Declasse Granger 3000X (SWB) (unlocked)
  • Bravado Buffalo 1st generation (unlocked)
  • Dundreary Landstalker (unlocked)
  • *Declasse Burrto (unlocekd - Cj24 said he is cool with it)
  • *Vapid Speedo (unlocekd - Cj24 said he is cool with it)
  • Anis Pinnacle (unlocked)
  • Civilian Granger
  • Matching civilian Pinnacle
  • New license plates

Each model (except for the models with *) comes in 4 variants - Vector LED lightbar with yellow traffic advisor, Vector LED lightbar with marquee LED text board, Slicktop with pushbar, Slicktop without pushbar.

The models with * are going to come in 2 first variants (no slicktops).

Every car is ELSv8 optimized. ELS VCF (vehicle configuration files) are included for every car. Refer to ELS v8 User Guide for more information.

The models need renaming. Handling and carcols are included for each car.

All of the cars have extra skins which can be added to the wtd files.

I recommend you to use Area Livery Mod by Sam, to restrict certain liveries to certain areas, and to remove the 4 liveries limit! (LCPDFR 1.0c also removes the limit, but it does not have the ALM features). You can add more liveries to the wtd, just rename the livery you want to add to modelname_sign_5, and then import it. If you want to add more, increase the number by one.

WARNING

Using too many liveries (even 8 can be too many), can and WILL result in a BROAD RANGE of problems including, but not limited to, TEXTURE LOSS, POP-IN, SLOWNESS, FREEZING, CRASHES TO DESKTOP and MODELS/PEDS/CARS NOT SPAWNING.

MAKE SURE TO UNCHECK "AUTOMATICALLY GENERATE MIPMAPS" WHEN IMPORTING TEXTURES IN OPENIV. MIPMAPS ADD SIZE, LESS SIZE IS BETTER.

There might be bugs - I or my testers might have overlooked something.

All cars follow the emerglights_emis_2 standard.

Also :

I'd like to thank:

  • Abraxas, for his source files which are the main base of the skins,
  • DLer, for spending an unimaginable number of hours trying to perfect all the skins,
  • Murphy, for helping me with the models and for the Cruiser,
  • Cj24, for letting me use his lightbar,
  • Michael V, for helping me with the skins,
  • Strider, for making great screens and advice,
  • playstationmanrocks, for making a few NLSP skins and letting me use them,
  • Ekalb, for his unlocekd Merit model
  • Lt.Caine, for leaving his parts unlocked, ELS and for his cars
  • All the model makers/converters, for, well, making or converting the models
  • And all the people who were patiently waiting for this pack, for motivating me to finish it.

Hey Yard, it looks like the rear-facing red lights in the rear windshields of the Vector varients of the Granger and Landstalker are incorrectly/not mapped.

Alright, I'll take a look. On which variant does it happen, and does it happen only when the ELS lights are turned on?

No. It looks weird! I don't mean any emergency lights. There is something comming out of the hood. Not the grill. It looks like long spears. Difficult to describe. It's definetely a bug.
