lots of polys, may I suggest using bump maps?

It can be optimized further for sure

I'll keep working on it but Bump Maps won't really work here since there isn't anywhere to bumpmap

How is this a lot of polys? This is actually a low poly count for different plows. most of them are in the 21-30 thousand ploy counts...

14,000 Polys = ~28k Tris, a lil less or more.

I seen people make literally 5k tri/10k tri ploys. Because they use cylinders for the springs and bump map them.

You'd be surprised how optimized people can get things.

I use cylinders for springs on my own plows and I have them in the ~23K poly range. You get to a point where you can't crunch them anymore because there starts to get holes in the model. I have also not had anyone complain about my plows poly count both on my models or on the dev model itself. anyway does not matter to me just trying to point out that not everything has to be 5K polys... especially if you want more detail.

I mean as in cylinders that do not look like springs physically. Its just one stretched cylinder with a bump map. Along with the, the main hydraulic thing in the center going vertically, that can be less than 100 tris lol, and its sitting at 1,644 at the moment. The center part of the mounting bar, you do not need that many cuts, using 104 tris atm, could be 10-20.

I mean, I like optimization, I used blender a lot before and I know its not impossible to make HQ low poly/tri stuff, but you do you.
