As the holiday season is upon us, we figured that it would be a nice idea to inject some fresh life into the site with a brand new theme.  Made by IPB Forum Skins, and customized a little by us, it's got all the same features as our old custom one, but it also packs a few new ones too.  The idea of the new theme was that, seeing as we are experiencing our most rapid period of growth yet, it seems like a sensible idea to make things less cluttered and inconsistent, as with new content every minute, the old theme was becoming clogged up and with two separate skins, rather hard to manage.

Everything is still fairly new at this stage, so we will be adding to the theme and fixing up a few things as time progresses.  For now though, we've added in a new page titled the "LCPDFR History and About", which is still a work in progress but contains the basics, and can be found under the 'More' tab.

We hope that everyone likes the new theme and as always, we'd love to hear your feedback about it.

BTW, some fonts are pretty light in color, and should probably be changed (like the member list).

The new site looks very good. I like the blue theme; looks sleek and isn't too annoying to the eyes. Love it! :D

Was quite strange to refresh the page with the old black style and to see this new fresh blue style then. It looks really nice, I like those small shadows and other small effects. Only some texts are quite bright compared to the background.

I like the layout and the icons seem to be laid out in a more intuative way.  But, and I hate to be negative but I miss my "dark theme".
Yeah I realise the dark theme was at times a bit naughty and played up but I used it because white backgrounds do my eyes in after a while.

Don't worry about it though it won't kill me...
Ooh aren't you gonna feel bad now if I get snow blindness from too much forum and then get run over by a bus !  :)

Overall 10/10 just a bit too white for me hehe.

Love some of the gallery features, designed or not when in gallery hitting new content once gives a full page list of new pics. Hit new content once more and it takes you back to regular forum new content. Nice.
Like the member profile layout a lot more now as welll.

Not sure if it's intended but I seem to be following a lot of topics, I think just by posting in them :)
Another thing I just noticed, it all seems a lot more optimised, loading quicker etc.

It looks very fresh and different, I'll have to get used to not using the lovely dark theme, it were much gentler on the eye than the brighter, more white theme.
