You press the "Num Lock" button towards the right of your keyboard. It is just above the keypad.

there is no numlock on a windows 8 computer so is there anyother, way to do it or did they change  the numlock symbol.

Num lock needs to be on by pressing the button I have done a red square around. Then where I have done the green square, this should light up.

Do you use a keyboard or an onscreen keyboard?

I have windows 8 and i know that to use the trainer you need to have your num lock on. The thing is windows 8 doesn't have a num lock. So can any body tell me what to use instead that will work????

Windows 8 most certainly still has numlock functionality, it's your specific computer that doesn't have a key for it (which seems surprising).

As mentioned above, you should make your own thread.
