Its been ALONG time since i have been around the community, as we get older we start taking on alot of different responsibilities and work becomes a burden. But since i am now a full-time remote web developer i have a bit more free time, so i started rebuilding an old project of mine. If anyone can remember i used to run a different gta modding website, that we shut down, but we build an online mdt/mdc that was available for clans. Well i decided to spend a bit of time rebuilding that and im making it completely open sourced and free for everyone.
If you want to know what the old project looked like, look through the images here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/gallery/image/34855-clan-management-dispatch-system/#
I have already started rebuilding the application, its going to be modular, so you will be able to use what you want and turn off the modules you dont want, i am about 30% finished with the dispatching module, and once i get that finished ill make an installer and release an alpha version. If you want to contribute or if you want to start jotting down some suggestions or you want to get in on the alpha testing, then visit the repo: https://bitbucket.org/scsddeputy/clan-management-system and let me know what you want to see by starting a new issue.

There are alot of people (from all over the world) who download files from gta communities. Not every one of them is going to have very good download speeds (australians as an example). Downloading files that are 50+ MB for them can take quite a while to do. Some of the people who download also have limited bandwidth. So them having to download 10 files that are 50+ MB a piece can really take a dent out of their bandwidth. I think these are quite valid reasons. If you need pictures of the model and there arnt any in the rar when you get them, don't huff and puff at the people who put their own time into making something FOR YOU. Just take the 2 seconds it takes and put a picture in there yourself. The fact that there is an entire argument about this is simply saddening.

Myself and another member are working on a complete clan management system. We have a lot of awesome things planned so far, and have already built about 75% of the modules that will be introduced when we implement the new system.

We decided to move away from "just an MDT" and instead move toward an entirely new system built around managing an entire clan and not just the dispatching portion of it. We are building the new system based on the concept of the Enjin website, but built for GTA. The new system will be completely privatized for each clan. What that means is that no longer will all clans be built onto one system, instead they will be built completely on their own system (hosted by us).

A few of the planned features are:

Complete privatization for every clan (completed) Each clan has their own database & subdomain (completed) Permission based access system (still working on) Dispatching system (with integration of the Desktop Dispatching Software) (completed) Blogging system (similar to what is currently our previous MDT home page) (about 75% complete) Forums (future integration soon after initial release) Possibly a calendar system (future integration) Downloads system for clan packs (completed) These are only a few of the planned features and we are going to be trying to do even more when we are able. We have already developed a most of the features that I have told you about. A few photos were added to our gallery (and a few below) showing off the build of the dispatch screen. I made a few changes today and will upload a few pictures in a little bit. Be sure you keep up with our gallery: (LCPDFR wont allow me to link to website) as we will be added photos periodically as we get things built to keep everyone updated.

We are always open to suggestions on what you all would like to see implemented and you can post them here: (LCPDFR wont allow me to link to website) we hope you all like what we have planned so far, and hopefully you all will be seeing the new system soon.

So as everyone is well aware, I have been working on a online version of my previous Desktop Dispatching Program. Its been a slow and quite aggravating process thus far, but I think I have gotten it to where I think we might be at a releasable base version. I am finishing up a few things in the programming trying to get it as optimized as possible, so there is a very high possibility that I will have a beta version uploaded within the next 3-4 days.    I will post some screen shots and some more information about the program later today since it is 3 am and I am a zombie right now. The LCPSR (Liberty County Public Safety Roleplay) is my testing group and from what I am being told by our dispatchers is that this program is extremely helpful when running multiple dispatchers at the same time since they can see the same things in real time.    So far what is completed: All information is saved to a database, which can (in the future) be recalled at any time All dispatchers can see the same information once uploaded to the database Incident tracking NCIC (National Criminal Incident Computer) what is used to perform Person/License Plate lookup BOLO Tracking (Be On the Look Out) AKA APB (All Points Bullitin) Admin defined fields for incidents including (Incident Types, Dispositions) Admins are able to create user accounts for users Admins are able to create units Dispatchers are able to assign beats on a floating basis Much More    What is planned: Reporting Module - So users can file incident reports that will be saved to database Reports will be able to be printed off or saved to computer Database for saving person records so it will keep track of every person your department pulls over Database for saving license plate records Complete customization of program for skinning  Screenshots: http://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-81570400-1399859709.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-10134000-1399859712.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-48743100-1399859714.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-33901700-1399859717.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-54010700-1399859719.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-10848500-1399859722.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-27267200-1399859725.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-75089500-1399859727.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-96448000-1399859730.jpg

Pretty much dead on Sam. This is an out of game application that runs on windows (7 and above) out of game. Basically, i know that for us (LCPSR) We wanted something that would keep track of all the units that we in a patrol, and it would let us know who was available, where they were, what kind of call they were on.... and so forth. It is essientially an MDC type system, however it is unable to connect to anything in game. I am not profoundly good at coding for GTA, but im working on it slowly, so it may eventually become something that could be accessible while in game.

But you already cant do this. Because when someone links to something that is hosted on another website, you black list the entire website from lcpdfr. So you can say that its "unfair" but we already know that it wont work. then admins have already black listed on site because people linked to it in the gallery, so yes it IS unfair, but most of us have come to expect it here
