The past year has been an interesting one to say the least here at LSPDFR.  Of course, we kicked things off with quite the event when LSPDFR 0.3 was released as part of our first ever livestream - something which, despite the many teething problems, quickly rose to prominence on Twitch and was apparently quite popular with everyone.  I think it will remain the most horrible experience that any of us have ever bared witness to, but nonetheless, we're looking forward to doing it again soon!

Aside from our work on LSPDFR, we've also been looking at ways to build upon the success that our community has experienced over the past year, and we're excited to announce the introduction of three new members to our team in an entirely new community-facing role...

The time has finally come!  Emergency Lighting System for Grand Theft Auto V is now available, bringing hundreds of new lighting patterns, a bunch of siren options and a beautiful new interface for controlling your vehicle's emergency equipment.  Developed by our own @Lt.Caine and @LMS, ELS-V is a must-have for any one that enjoys realistic police and emergency vehicles in their game.

Additionally, Wednesday also sees the release of the latest version of Realism Dispatch Enhanced - a massive modification that brings loads of new vehicles and characters, as well as a custom wanted system that includes a six star wanted level.

Both of these modifications are available in our Downloads section now!

Month in Review: October

By Sam, in Articles,

The third edition of our monthly update packs quite the punch.  In October, we've been lucky to see some big developments throughout the community, starting with the huge update to the Emergency Uniforms Pack.  Not only this, but we've also seen some amazing new vehicle modifications including a police cruiser with funky new animations - working window wipers anyone?!

Seven years ago today, Sam put together a bare-bones modification for Grand Theft Auto IV that enabled players to perform some very basic police     actions which has now expanded to two GTA games and thousands of followers. We sat down with him as he opened up on creating the mod, who he is and what he sees for the future.
