LCPDFR 1.0 runs fine for me. A couple of crashes here and there but its either been reported by others or just GTAIV going full retard on me. The only problem I have with it is that I see police abandon their cars after a chase or arriving on scene,etc. Anything that involves the AI leaving their cars for any reason they abandon their cars. I had a whole city block full of cop cars after a pursuit with not a single ped in sight. Overall its a great mod. Thanks G17 staff for the awesomeness. Well worth the 2 year wait. I'm definitely never going back to .95

i want to thank al of you guys for this great new mod, it as been a delight for me to play no chrashes no nothing for 2 full hours and i am running and ,els7,trainer, breatheliser, vehicule  search.vdh towing, but i kept the original cops and guns.

 

so Sam and al off your bunch super job .

 

Thank's again and keep-up the great work.

 

p.s. havent tried multiplayer yet !!!

You know, these have been a tough couple of days for us, especially myself and LMS.  It is just incredible how something that works so well for yourself, and for all the testers, can work so horribly for others.  Of course, the majority of the problems have been install related, but even still, it's just odd because I installed the public release version in full on my MacBook running Windows 8, just to test it out, and I can be happily playing away with the lighting control while at the same time seeing three threads about how it just crashes.  It's truly bizarre.

 

Oh well, at least its not as bad as .90 or .95, lol.

Having cops in pursuit jump out from their moving vehicle after 75 feet wasn't intentional in .90?

I apologize if this is the wrong topic for this, but I would like to suggest a possible modification, since this topic contains many requests for fixes.

 

While playing LCPDFR, I have experienced a few issues mentioned here, such as the siren lighting problem, but one aspect of this mod which I am sometimes having a hard time dealing with is the detaining procedure.

A recent experience in 1.0 I had was with a drunk pedestrian I pulled over. Upon detaining him, he was wobbling and falling down so much that I was unable to keep the arrest menu on my screen for a sufficient amount of time.

If possible, could a change be made that removes a player's drunk state, freezes the player, or something of the like once the arrest menu is up?

This would be really helpful, especially when the taser isn't working either. :P

I'd like to see it so that they'd have a chance of just ignoring anything you tell them to do, or do completely different things. Tell them you're going to frisk and they hand you their ID or start to walk away and things like that.

I am very pleased with 1.0. its way better than 0.95 by far!

 

just played for 2 hours and the only thing that crashed was policehelper. and pretty sure that's because i tried using it to call for an ambulance [when i should of used lcpdfr 1.0 menu to call it] my bad lol. the taser is buggy for me, lags every time i fire it, plus i hate the message that pops up about the memory when i exit the game, so i removed it, no problem my less lethal shotgun will do. Everything is running smooth! even the lights when i hit /, i had no problems at all with it.

 

i mean come on, abilities to detain peds,  when you search name in cruiser if its occupied x2 it give the names of both occupants [which if you later check the passengers id, its the same], abilities to choose a side of the car i want to go to, ability to move a detainee around where ever i want.I Love the little cut scenes when i drop of a perp at the station! i mean the list goes on of things that have changed from 0.95. 

 

I am VERY Happy with all the hard work you guys put into this mod, its just outstanding! I really appreciate it!

Since I removed the AdvancedHookInit.asi and installed the taser manually, the game works great (more or less).

But IF it crashes, I get a "Visual C++ runtime error" (R6025 I guess, didn't remember). This is really annoying when I'm in a chase or shoot-out. Is there a way to get rid of this ones?

My game works fine though no crashes...at all I use the police and police2 that wouldn't make it crash..n I only use the original mod of the cop and traffic cop, the rest peds are modded ...just use something like that and your game will last atleast one or two hours before crashin or being bugged*

taser, alt + T still working ??

 

I install lcpdfr 1.0 and succes but there is no taser when i press alt + T,, or i still install the taser manually ??

The modify key is now obsolete. Only press T, if it doesn't spawn there is a instructional guide on how to install the taser manually even though I can find it. lol

The mod is awesome.The only thing to tell is that crashes often even though i dont have install any other mod and when you press F7 it says you are busy and won't receive call outs when you re not.All in all great game and very fun!

I assume it is the GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet valid: False that is causing me to crash, but my scripthook is up to date and Im unsure of what to do..

I assume it is the GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet valid: False that is causing me to crash, but my scripthook is up to date and Im unsure of what to do..

After Instaling LCPD:FR 1.0 my game started to not work.  I have tried everything you guys have posted for related topics to why the game crashes and my game still does not work.  I havent been able to go in-game since the new download was downloaded.  Is there anything else I can try???  Also, when instaling LCPD:FR 1.0 I was not even alowed to log-in to my LCPD:FR.com account.

Take a clean GTA IV directory, install everything you need and then LCPDFR. That's how I've done it, works great. Not perfect but great. :biggrin:
