LCPDFR Error "object does not match target"

10 posts in this topic

Posted (edited)

After launching LCPDFR in EFLC, and after choosing which player model to use, I immediately get an lcpdfr error stating something  along the lines of "object does not match target". I have done everything I can think of in attempt to fix this error and I have never experienced this error before. I have even re-installed the latest version of lcpdfr

Upon running the Diagnostics Tool, it says I do not have an ASI loader.... which is strange because I have never taken any files out and other scripts run fine. I have installed two mods right before this error showed its ugly face, PoliceHelper and PolicingTools. I have removed everything to do with either mod, and completely re-installed LCPDFR again, still the same error occurs. Abraxas has gone through my system looking for anything that I may have missed and he said it checks out as far as he can tell.

This error causes lcpdfr to malfunction and not work correctly. I.e no traffic stops, taser ect.

Please help! I have Teamviewer and am more than happy to have someone who thinks they may be able to help to poke around!

EDIT:  Just seen your edited OP, not sure what the deal is.  Seems far more than a missing ASI loader.

Download and install a scripthook (1.7.1.7 is the latest).  http://www.hazardx.com/details.php?file=83

I think LLCPDFR auto installs all that stuff, so not sure why you're without, but anyhow, that should be all you need to get the game working.

Just drop the files into your GTAIV main directory and you should be good to go.  I play the Steam version of GTAIV-EFLC, so my main game directory is C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonGrand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty CityEFLC.

Remember, read the readme file.

Good day,

That just means you Alt+Tabbed out and back in. It's not an unusual message.

Which ASI loader do you have?

Is xlive.dll (not recommended unless you need it) or dsound.dll in your GTA IV directory?

xlive. but none of these problems started until i installed police helper and policing tools. LCPDFR still runs except for that first error message and the taser. then the diag tool saying i dont have an asi loader....

Not like anyone reads this lol I took all of my scripts out and just left LCPDFR and the errors still show

Still having issues, put a new scripthook in and the diag tool recognizes it but i still get the error as previously state, among other errors with the indicator script for whatever reason, noted that my game was running fine then all of a sudden these errors appeared at once.

They are marked with ***.

I'm sure i'll get hammered for the bump but I cannot seem to get any help on this matter...
