Enhanced Vapid Police Cruiser by EKALB [UPDATED!] 1.1

   (13 reviews)

4 Screenshots

This is essentially an updated version of the default Vapid Police Cruiser. It features multiple liveries (by Lt. Caine) as well as a number of updates that I made to the vehicle's collisions, the lightbar and the indicators.

I normally don't feel comfortable releasing a mod where I don't feel like much of my own original work has gone into it. Nevertheless, I received an immense amount of encouragement from the community to release it.

Please provide any feedback and constructive criticism here or in my Mods thread (here: ). This model is unlocked for two purposes; 1 - as a helpful tool to any prospective modders and, 2 - so that if you're desperate for a slightly tweaked version and I'm unable to help you out you are free to do it yourself.

Is... is this a cruiser without window bug?

Well I shot out all the windows in testing numerous times and didn't crash so let's hope so.

I know that the windshields on some vehicles seem to be bulletproof, does this avoid that?

I actually meant that shooting through them doesn't manage to injure passenger or driver. I'll double check when I boot up GTA4 again.

With the Strobes mod running, the game crashes when the rear lights are shot out, though collisions are fine. I am unsure about the front lights or the sirens. The windows are all fine and impressively strong, yet still destructible.
