[REALISTIC] 8k/4k/2k San Andreas Highway Patrol (SAHP) Vehicle Textures [For Thehurk's 2016 CHP Mega Pack] 3.2.0

   (4 reviews)

22 Screenshots

About This File

Completely and realistically based off of the California Highway Patrol (CHP)

These are NOT full models. Just textures for models by @Thehurk

You can find the models here:

Important Information:

  • Some may consider the motto on the cars to be "not realistic" because it does not match the real life CHP motto of "Safety, Service and Security". However, "Authority, Obedience and Force" follows the GTA tradition of parodying real life police mottos
  • Some things that don't quite match up to the CHP:
    • The "HIGHWAY PATROL" on the back of the 2015 Charger is moved up to adjust for the model
    • The "HIGHWAY PATROL" on the back of the CVPI is not quite like its irl counterpart as the texture doesn't allow me to make it exact (Unless you want it to curve at the top)
  • Please, if you have any suggestions in regards to how I can make the mod better then please put them in the comments rather than write a review. Thank you.

The badge in not even close to realism in this texture, and make "Highway Patrol" on the doors a bit brighter, they're a little bit too dark.

You don't even have the proper motto on the side of the car, it's "Safety, Service, and Security" & it's not italicized, including that the motto is too high up, lower it just a bit.

The left side of the explorer (facing the front of the FPIU) the text "Highway Patrol" is a tad-bit low, raise it a little bit.

(Match the text color with the color of the badge)

I rated this file 3/5 because they're are some text errors and color problems, as well as the badge not being the correct one and you stating it is "realistic as possible", it's really not, the one on the Stanier or in the SAHP stanier pack was the most realistic in GTA V terms, since you are basing off the CHP all itself, you just want to add the proper mock of the CHP badge with SAHP and fix the motto and etc.

I'll edit my review once I get a chance if it is updated.

Good job on the angle of "Highway Patrol" not even I can do that.

Nice to see a SAHP pack with this quality, not CHP all the day. The emblem looks good, licensed plate is the San Andreas one (I saw tons of SA skin pack with California plate, and I can't stand that), and you use the same slogan (Authority, Obedience and Force) for SAHP with Krame86! So I can use these skins, along with other cars with his skin together. Also I have seen lots of people use the CHP slogan on SAHP, what's the point for them to make everything the same between CA and SA??? Hope to see more skin in this pack, maybe some other cars expect those in CHP Mega Pack, and I think 4K is enough, haven't seen any 8K before.
