About This File
**Backup the original model files in case something goes wrong so you can just copy them back over**
**I highly recommend using a mods folder**
Ensure LSPDFR and OpenIV are correctly installed.
Using OpenIV navigate to the location of the model you wish to replace:
Sheriff (s_m_y_sheriff_01) - x64e.rpf / models / cdimages / componentpeds_s_m_y.rpf
Cop (s_m_y_cop_01 ) - update / x64 / dlcpacks / patchday9ng / dlc.rpf / x64 / models / cdimages / patchday9ng.rpf
Ranger (s_m_y_ranger_01) - x64e.rpf / models / cdimages / componentpeds_s_m_y.rpf
Highwaycop (s_m_y_hwaycop_01) - update \ x64 \ dlcpacks \ patchday3ng \ dlc.rpf \ x64 \ models \ cdimages \ patchday3ng.rpf
Enter EDIT mode and drag and drop the files in 'Base_Black Vest Black Shirt EH' into OpenIV to overwrite them. This will install a working officer.
If you want a different texture, drag the .ytd file from your chosen folder and drop it into OpenIV.
Exit EDIT mode to save changes.
You can rename the model files if you want to use them in other slots. So if you want to use the a model in regular cop slot, just rename the files from s_m_y_sheriff_01 to s_m_y_cop_01 and drop them into the right place via OpenIV.
Check the 'Alternate cap skins' folder for hat texture instructions.
This skin was made off of Jordix's 2k US Marshal texture. Ive attempted to contact him to let him know and properly gain permission but it seems he is inactive. Credit for the 2k base dude. I would help sort it out if he has any issues with me uploading this.
I highly recommend using TheBritishMightys hats that come in his mod, they compliment this uniform nicely. Many thanks to him for allowing me to include edited hat textures:
What's New in Version 1.7
-Adjusted some belt and vest textures to be darker as they were too contrasting and looked odd.
-Modified long sleeved officers textures to look better.
-Changed a belt.
