About This File

NOTICE

This plugin bases vehicle registration off of LSPDFR's database.  The STOCK police computer will return the CORRECT registered owner.  Police Radio and Rage Computer base their registered owner off of the driver of the vehicle and WILL NOT (consistently) return the correct registered owner. (Police Radio sometimes changes the owners name it displays for its random events).  I will continue to utilize the method of retrieving the owner information that is consistent with LSPDFR in its stock configuration.

Description

An ALPR/ANPR system that is created to simulate the realism found in its real life counterparts.  With this realism you must operate the ALPR/ANPR system in a realistic manner, from sitting on the side of the highway to doing sweeps through a parking garage.  Run around with the system turned on while doing your regular patrols or stake out on the side of the road looking for stolen vehicles.  This mod with not blip or mark the vehicle that creates the alert, you must locate based on the License Plate, Model, and the Camera that generated the alert.

Definitely 5 stars! I love the simplicity of the UI and the beep every time it scans a vehicle. Keep it up!

It's a useful tool, and worked well with previous versions of LSPDFR.

However, after updating the game and LSPDFR to .41, it no longer works.

The plugin look excellent and just what LSPDFR needs, but when I installed it and went on duty, it gave me an error saying that GTA V was not up to date for the script to work. However, I am on the latest Title Update 1.33. I tried reinstalling the mod in vain, as it gave me the same error message.

Unfortunately it does not appear to work with the latest RPH and requires an update. At this time it does not function with the latest version of GTA.

I like it but it's really hard to find wanted car or a suspect I wash if you can work more on this.

If you are using the latest version you can increase the probability of a stolen or wanted vehicle in the INI file.

NAILED IT! Only thing that I don't like is that it's hard to tell which vehicle it is sometimes... would you be able to create a blimps (blips?...idk??) option?

Danielle

Author response

Sure, I will look into adding an INI option to enable it.

Awesome mod, yet I find it annoying that the names isn't persistent. Just got a hit on a wanted person, but when I pulled the person over, it was another name that popped up. And it wasn't because it was a stolen vehicle, no, I ran the plates as well and it was the registred owner. So, I like the plugin, but it would be nice if it mixed with the LSPDFR person API.

I love the simplicity: plug&play. Very well done! And the beep sound adds so much realism :)

Only "issue" I've found: it seems like sometimes it scans vehicles above/below you as well. For instance on freeway interchanges, or parkings. Maybe it's just me (so many cars flying by :D).

I love this plugin, very simple and nice. Also like that you don't have too many hits. Four stars because it's only one "stolen vehicle" hit. I can't wait for new features and hits like "registered owner wanted" etc.
